The Soul Picnic is Uganda's most visible community-led mental health event a one-day outdoor gathering that brings together hundreds people from across Kampala for music, movement, honest conversation, and a shared conviction that mental health belongs to everyone. Founded by wellness coach and mental health advocate Geraldine Opoka, and themed Boldly Breaking the Silence, the 2026 edition on 30th May at Kampala Parents School Grounds is bringing together artists, mental health professionals, media personalities, and everyday Ugandans on one platform because when the people Uganda watches and listens to say "this matters," the silence finally breaks.
